Stood Up

Paityn was set up on a blind date by her besties Babe and Austin, and she knew better. Blind dates don't ever go well for her.

She waited for forty-fine minutes, sitting as bait for the sharks circling in the water. After wasting her time, a magnificent face beat, and her expensive perfume reserved for special occasions, Paityn was ready to bounce.

Back home, a twenty-ounce Coke, leftover crab cakes, and the season two, episode four of The Chi is cued up and ready.

Luz, the band's drummer had to think quick to keep Paityn there until the end of his set.
